On the drive from Kapalua, many stop to see Nakalele Blowhole, where waves cause water to erupt up through a hole in the lava.

Near Lahaina, is the largest banyan tree in the country. The tree, which was brought to the island from
India in 1873, is more than 60 feet tall and spreads out to cover the entire block.

We spotted many breaching whales not far from the Maui shores.
Maui is a leading whale-watching center in the Hawaiian Islands due to humpback
whales wintering in a sheltered channel between the islands of Maui county.
Ho'okipa is one of Maui's most famous surfing and windsurfing spots.

Saturday farmers market at Maui Community College was filled with
great food, crafts and people. Ken enjoyed a 30 minute massage for his sore back.
When cut open, the red fluffy fruit of the rambutan tree can be used in jams, canned or eaten fresh.
