Panama Canal Cruise

The Noregian Jade was our home for a two week cruise in February.

3,000 passengers and 1,100 crew members.




Weather from 79- 87.

Ship facts: a gallon of fuel oil was use each second to power the ship,

salt water is converted to 713,000 gallons fresh water each day.

First port of call, Cabo San Lucas, Mexico.

Lands End at the tip of Baja California Peninsula.

Puerto Vallarta, Mexico our second port.

Entering the first lock of the Panama Canal with only two feet clearance on each side of the ship.

It took 10 hours to pass through the two Pacific locks, Panama Lake and the final two Atlantic locks.

Our next port of call: Cartagena, Columbia, South America.

Final port: Miami, Flordia

Our final excursion was an Everglades airboat trip out of Fort Lauderdale, Flordia.
